Tottenham striker Harry Kane was delighted at his continuation of the great form he has shown on Boxing Day over the years.

Kane has always been prolific for Spurs during the busy Christmas period.

His goal in the 2-1 win over Brighton was his eighth in the past five Boxing Day matches for the club.

"I enjoy it," Kane told reporters.

"The games come thick and fast. I don't know what it is, maybe the Christmas dinner gives me a bit of a boost. I might have to have it more often.

"[We put in a] real shift today going 1-0 down against a good side. We dug deep today to get the win."
