Tottenham have stolen a march on rivals in the race for Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
Manchester City have already made one offer for Ndombele and willing to bid again this summer.
Le 10 Sport says, however, Spurs are now in talks with Ndombele's agents and have made a contract offer.
And the proposal is attractive to the midfielder, who will be sold by OL president Jean Michel Aulas.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has assured Ndombele he would be a first-choice next season, something the likes City cannot guarantee.
