Tottenham are set to appeal a Football Association charge against Dele Alli regarding a video he posted on social media.

Alli posted a video where he was seen mocking a person of Asian descent at the start of the coronavirus outbreak.

Given the recent ban dished out to Bernardo Silva for a racist tweet about his teammate Benjamin Mendy, Alli could be looking at missing game time.

Spurs will be hoping they can appeal the charge to ensure that he does not miss any games this season.

Alli initially posted the video on a private Snapchat group.

But it was picked up by a national newspaper and became widespread soon after.

It is the last thing Spurs need, given their injuries to Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane.
