Tottenham have joined Portsmouth in their interest in Southampton midfielder Andrew Surman.

The Daily Mail says Spurs chairman Daniel Levy revealed that sporting director Daniel Comolli visited the south coast on Saturday to watch Southampton's Championship match with Barnsley and there is little doubt that he will have taken a keen interest in Surman's form.
