Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has heaped praise on Jose Mourinho and Tottenham.
Mourinho was appointed as Spurs boss two weeks ago after the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino after over five years in charge of the north London club.
"Having [Jose] Mourinho there is an amazing statement from the club, I think he's a serial winner," Bale told BT Sport.
"Tottenham want to win trophies and I don't think there's a better partnership than Mourinho and Tottenham together to try and win some trophies."
A transfer back to Tottenham could now be on the cards for Bale, with his time at Real Madrid quickly coming to a conclusion.
Of his own situation in Madrid, Bale added: "Obviously I have to just keep working hard and keep proving to the fans what I can do. Eventually the whistles do stop and you get on with your career like normal."
