Spurs midfielder Dier: We'll do better next year

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Eric Dier has stated that Spurs will enjoy an even better season next year.

Dier was one of the stars for Tottenham last season and the 23-year-old has made a big claim that Spurs will perform even better in the Premier League as well as the Champions League during the upcoming campaign.

Dier told Tottenham's official website: "It's been a great season. I think obviously we're disappointed we didn't reach our main objective which was to finish in first place and win the Premier League, but I think as a whole we can look at the season as a positive.

"We've improved a lot on last season (2015-16) in terms of the Premier League, obviously there are things that we can still improve on and definitely next season we'll be looking to do a lot better in the Champions League as well. But overall I think it's been a positive season.

"I think this group and this team and this Club wants to keep improving and keep striving to do even better than we are at the moment. That's always the objective."
