Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has admitted his sadness about the injury to newcomer Giovani Lo Celso.

The attacking midfielder suffered a hip problem during the international break, while he was with Argentina.

He suffered the problem during a glamor friendly against Chile last week.

"It's a sad situation, very disappointed," Pochettino said to reporters about the injury.

"For Giovani, the first months here was to adapt to a new club and new football. Everything he was doing in a very good way.

"We are all so disappointed because now we need to wait for him. In the same way we need to be positive, and try to provide him with good quality training and recovery, so in the moment that he's ready, he can start to help the team again."
