Mauricio Pochettino says Tottenham's first thirty minutes against Bayern Munich were their best of the season.
The scores were tied at 1-1 before Robert Lewandowski scored on the stroke of half-time.
Bayern then piled on five more to make it 7-2, with Harry Kane chipping in with a penalty for the hosts.
And Pochettino was left baffled by his team's second half-display when speaking after the match.
He said: "To be honest after the first 30 minutes it was my best moment managing the team this season.
"That is so difficult to accept that the second half changed things. But when you have the talented players Bayern have, they were clinical and we need to give credit to them.
"We need to move on. We've lost three points and we need to move on and face Brighton and then at this stadium again in the Champions League next."
