Spurs and Fulham have started monitoring the former Barcelona youth product, who has been on the radar of West Ham and Liverpool for some time.

The 25-year-old centre back was recently handed his second cap for Spain and could now take his talents to the Premier League.

However, he may need some persuading to leave his home country.
