Wigan Athletic midfield prospect Sean McGurk is on the wanted list of Premier League clubs.

The Daily Mail says Leeds could yet face competition from Tottenham for McGurk.

The Elland Road club have already agreed a £1million fee with cash-strapped Wigan for striker Joe Gelhardt, 18, which they hope to finalise this week and will compete with Tottenham for his talented clubmate McGurk.

The 17-year-old Liverpool fan has been tipped for the top by Wigan staff after starring in their FA Youth Cup run and Tottenham scouts have made favourable reports.

Leeds are looking to strengthen their options up front, in midfield and at centre-back.
