Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris says defeat to Sunderland will be unacceptable.

The France keeper was hurt by the north Londoners' Champions League defeat by Monaco in front of a crowd of 85,011 at Wembley on Wednesday night.

He said: “Good teams don't lose successive games.

“The good thing is we have another game on Sunday and it is an important game.

“It is important to confirm our good form in the Premier League. We had a good result against Stoke and it's important to carry that on. We know we've got great potential."
