Spurs keeper Gomes told to forget PSV return

Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has been told he's not wanted by former club PSV Eindhoven.

Gomes returned to his old club last week for their game against Venlo in the Phillips Stadium.

The Brazilian, now third choice at Spurs, said: "If possible I would come back to PSV tomorrow. How can I say no if PSV want me?''

Gomes may be popular with PSV fans, but club officials were appalled by his actions.

Technical director Marcel Brands told the Sunday Mirror: "We don't want him. We are really happy with Przemyslaw Tyton as our number one keeper.''
