Tottenham goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini won't know if he will play again for another six months.
The Daily Star says the Italian underwent pelvic and wrist surgery last night after his horrific motorcycle accident on Thursday.
Cudicini's injuries were described as "possibly life-changing" after his high-powered BMW collided with a Ford Fiesta, in Walthamstow, east London.
Spurs yesterday refused to put a time-scale on how long the keeper will be out of action.
Wayne Diesel, Tottenham's head of medical services, confirmed: "We have leading specialists looking after Carlo.
"Once surgery is complete and his recovery is under way, we will have a clearer idea of how many weeks he will be out for."
