Tottenham management are confident Carlo Cudicini will be back after his motorbike accident yesterday.

Cudicini fractured both of his wrists and damaged his pelvis when his motorcycle collided with a car in Walthamstow, north London, yesterday.

"Your first thought is 'Thank Christ he is still alive'," said the Tottenham goalkeeping coach Tony Parks, "because when you hear about somebody being involved in a road accident, you worry. I'm just thankful that it is not as serious as it could have been.

"There's no doubt that Carlo will fight to come back."
