Champions League finalists Tottenham Hotspur are looking to make quick adjustments to their squad ahead of the new Premier League season.
They have launched a £40 million move for AS Roma star Nicola Zaniolo but could face stiff competition from Italian champions Juventus.
That's according to Calcio Mercato, who claim discussions have already taken place.
The Italian news outlet state Juventus' sporting director, Fabio Paratici, met the 19-year-old's agent Claudio Vigorelli yesterday.
They were both at the "Football Leader" awards in Naples and used the occasion to discuss a potential move.
And with Roma keen on Juve's Mattia Perin, he could be included as part of an offer.
However, the Serie A outfit may prefer to sell him for a lump sum, and Spurs' £40m offer could prove too good to resist.
