Liverpool and Tottenham are watching PV Eindhoven winger Dries Mertens.
The 25 year-old Belgium international has been a long-term target for Liverpool, who were first watching him when Damien Comolli was football director.
Tottenham have joined the interest as Mertens considers moving to a bigger competition.
