Tottenham are not planning to make an immediate appointment of a sporting director.
The club hired Jose Mourinho to take over from the sacked Mauricio Pochettino this week.
But the Evening Standard reports that any suggestions there would be an imminent sporting director / director of football hire are wide of the mark.
Luis Campos from Lille was linked to the post.
But it appears that chairman Daniel Levy is skeptical about making such a hire.
It is possible that Spurs will go in that direction in the future, but they are happy with their structure right now.
Mourinho and Campos have a very good relationship, which the latter has spoken about in interviews.
He told reporters in in October: "Mourinho is like a brother to me. I know him very well and for a long time. He's a wonderful person and the best coach in the world. So, of course, if he called me I would speak."
