Tottenham and Chelsea hero Gus Poyet turned on his own Brighton fans after their 1-1 draw with FA Cup opponents FC United.

The Rebel Reds held their Football League opponents at the Seagulls' home ground.

Poyet, who had dropped half his first team for the tie, said: "I have a message for every single fan who booed us - stay at home.

"We don't want that. It's not respectful and I don't accept it."
