Premier League interest is growing in Sampdoria winger Mikkel Damsgaard.

The Mirror says Southampton, Leeds and West Ham are ready to rival Tottenham for Sampdoria sensation Damsgaard.

Rising star Damsgaard has two goals and four assists in Serie A this season and is attracting interest from across Europe.

The 20-year-old midfielder, who can also play on the wing, is already a full Denmark international and highly rated in his homeland.

Spurs have asked to be kept informed of developments with Damsgaard, while Juventus are also monitoring his progress.

But Saints, Leeds and West Ham have also now expressed an interest in a player who only joined Sampdoria in a £5.2m deal from Nordsjaelland last summer.
