Jonathan Woodgate is set for his Tottenham comeback game this weekend against Stoke City.

Woodgate has been plagued by injury since the end of last season and has struggled to overcome a groin problem, despite having two operations during the summer.

There were fears that the England defender would need a third operation, but Woodgate has responded well to an injection and has finally made a successful return to action.

After playing for an hour last week, Woodgate showed Redknapp that he has overcome his injury hell when he played the full game and helped his team record a 3-0 win over Dagenham.
