Spurs chairman Levy confident beating Liverpool for summer Konoplyanka deal

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is delighted Dnipro winger Yevhen Konoplyanka is still available.Liverpool failed to close a deal for the Ukraine international yesterday.

The Daily Mail says Spurs were keen to sign Konoplyanka but looked to have lost out to Liverpool as the clock ticked towards Friday's 11pm transfer deadline.

But they will now try and sign the player in the summer with his value expected to £15million and wages of £100,000-a-week.
