Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas was pleased with his youngsters for their 0-0 draw at friendly opponents Colchester United.

Zeki Fryers and Shaq Coulthirst particularly impressed AVB.

"It's been a good opportunity for them," Villas-Boas told the Spurs website.

"I have to say Zeki Fryers, for example, did well as a central defender.

"Shaq came on and showed good tactical discipline, Laste's (Dombaxe) performance evolved from Swindon as well."
