Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood insists he has great belief in the ability of Christian Eriksen.
Denmark coach Morten Olsen has been critical of Sherwood's treatment of the midfielder.
"He certainly will cause England problems," Sherwood forecast. "He is Denmark's best player.
"If they have any better ones we need to go out and get them. He is a top player but only a kid. He is only just not eligible for our under-21s league.
"I remember watching him play against England a few years ago and speaking to Daniel Levy the day afterwards. I said: 'There is a kid with Denmark we need to go and get.' We got him in the end - £10million later."
