Parrett was snapped up from QPR and Redknapp said: "The kid is the future, let's play him and see how he does. He did very well. If the kids are good enough, I'll give them their chance. I believe in playing them.
"Parrett has got a bit of side to him, if you like, he's not short of confidence. He was an outstanding schoolboy player and the club bought him from QPR, they invested in him. He's a kid who comes from a very working-class area in west London, he's hungry and he wants to do it. His family are Tottenham fans and I bet they are proud of him."
