Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has confirmed his interest in RB Leipzig pair Emil Forsberg and Yussef Poulsen.

Lamenting his squad's spate of injuries, Mourinho declared he wanted both players after last week's Champions League defeat in London.

He told Sweden's Viaset: "Check out their team and ours. I want Yussuf Poulsen, I want Emil Forsberg. But they sit on their bench!"

Forsberg's agent Hasan Cetinkaya responded: "Nothing surprises me at all. Mourinho is a great legend who has worked with Victor Nilsson Lindelöf as well. Together with Victor, Forsberg is the biggest star in the national team and has caused total chaos in Leipzig. I'm not surprised."
