The Premier League battle for Getafe fullback Marc Cucurella is expanding.
Tottenham and Arsenal have now joined the race for Cucurella, according to La Razon, after Chelsea were linked earlier this week.
Getafe signed Cucurella on loan from Barcelona for the entire season last summer, and the deal included an option-to-buy clause, for £5.5million.
While the permanent switch to Getafe appears to be negative for clubs hoping to sign the 21-year-old, there's a catch.
The obligated-to-buy clause in the original loan deal also stated that if the move to Getafe was permanent, his contract at the La Liga club must include a release clause of €25m (£23m).
Barcelona would be eligible to receive 40 per cent of that fee, which equates to around €10m (£9.1m).
