Spurs ace Son snappy over Kane and Conte questions

Heung-min Son has snapped at reporters over questions about the future of Tottenham teammate Harry Kane.

Kane and Son, 28, broke a 25-year record in March for most goal combinations in a single Premier League season in 2020-21, combining for a 14th goal of the campaign against Crystal Palace.

The latter has snapped back and insisted nothing has been decided when asked if the former could move on and break up their partnership.

South Korea international Son - currently away on World Cup qualifying duty ahead of fixtures against Turkmenistan, Sri Lanka and Lebanon - told reporters: "Has Kane moved already?

"Everything is not decided. Rather than worrying about his transfer, I am doing my best at Tottenham.

"I want to focus on the national team and Tottenham. Maybe Kane is doing the same, he is busy preparing for the Euros."

Son also refused to discuss the potential appointment of former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and claimed he would give his all for whoever ends up in the hotseat.

"I can't talk about that subject," Son added.

"Conte doesn't arrive yet, I have to be careful. It's not confirmed, and I don't know if Spurs is finding new coach or not. I will do my best in any situation in my position."
