Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko has taken aim at former manager Jose Mourinho.
Indeed, Sissoko feels he was treated by Mourinho in the same way Paul Pogba was when the new Roma coach was in charge of Manchester United.
He recalled to Le Parisien: "The coach will have his reasons. It was difficult and frustrating.
"I paid the price for his desire to change. I didn't give up and I did well because that's why I'm in the (French) national team today. At Tottenham, I did well until December. I played almost every weekend and then the coach decided to change and I started less often [in the starting lineup], except in the Europa League.
"I did what he wanted. It was difficult, but I tried to keep my head up."
Sissoko added: "I felt the same way Paul [Pogba] did..."
