Tottenham ace Christian Eriksen admits the ferocity of their rivalry with Arsenal has surprised.

Eriksen is no stranger to intense rivalry, having featured in the match between Ajax and fierce foes Feyenoord in Holland.

"It's new for me, the rivalry against Arsenal," the Dane told Tottenham's website.

"In a few years, I'll get more and more emotion and how much you want to beat Arsenal."
