Sporting Kansas City have announced the departure of goalkeeper Luis Marin.

The 32-year old Chilean has been released from his contract with the MLS club by mutual consent after spending less than six months in Kansas City.

Marin made eight MLS appearances for SKC but will now return to his native Chile 'due to personal considerations'.

As his replacement, Sporting have recalled Jon Kempin from his loan with NASL club San Antonio Scorpions.
