Sporting CP winger Rafa Camacho admits he's in regular contact with his former Liverpool teammates.

Liverpool are still following Camacho's career keenly though and the player himself has spoken to the likes of Roberto Firmino, Fabinho, Sadio Mane and Alisson for advice.

Speaking to Tribuna Expresso, Camacho said: “I have spoken with some of the youngsters from Liverpool, but also with others from the main team, mainly those who speak Portuguese, like Fabinho, [Roberto] Firmino, Alisson.

“But also with Sadio Mane. They have given me advice, because they have seen some of my games at Sporting."

Camacho initially agreed to a new contract at Liverpool on the understanding he would be loaned back to a club in his homeland, however the 19-year-old backtracked and left for £5million.

The fee Liverpool received for Camacho could eventually rise to £7m plus add-ons with the Reds also having inserted a clever 20 percent sell-on clause into the agreement.
