Sporting CP wing-back Ruben Vinagre is interesting Everton.

Vinagre signed for Sporting last summer from Wolves and his form has attracted the interest of Everton.

With former Wolves football chief Kevin Thelwell in charge at Goodison Park, Vinagre is firmly on his agenda.

The Liverpool Echo says Sporting appear willing to allow him to play elsewhere this season and this summer he has been linked with a return to the UK with speculation including a loan move to Nottingham Forest and now Everton.

That interest from the Blues, whose only signing of the summer to date has been the arrival of James Tarkowski, is genuine and Vinagre is well known to Thelwell following their time together at Wolves.
