Sporting CP midfielder João Palhinha is interesting Leicester City.

Portuguese sources say Leicester have turned their attentions to Palhinha after missing out on two other targets.

The Foxes have been priced out of a move for Christian Eriksen, while Arsenal look to have beaten them to the signing of Martin Odegaard.

Palhinha is one of the options on Brendan Rodgers' shortlist.

It is thought Palhinha could be acquired for around £15million, though he is a more defensive midfielder, while Leicester would prefer someone who will add extra attacking impetus.
