Sporting CP manager Keizer: Difficult to stop Fernandes joining Man Utd

Sporting Lisbon manager Marcel Keizer has admitted that he will be powerless to hold onto Bruno Fernandes is a big club comes knocking.

While Sporting do not want to lose their most creative and prolific attacking midfielder, they recognise that Fernandes wants to make a move to the Premier League.

With Manchester United and Tottenham hot on his tail, it appears that Sporting may not be able to stand in his way if they get a suitable offer.

Reports indicate they want a fee close to 70 million euros.

"I want Bruno Fernandes to stay, but everyone knows the current situation," Keizer told Portuguese newspaper Record.

"It's going to be difficult to keep him.

"He's on vacation, we'll see what happens."
