Teenage Portuguese goalkeeper Diogo Pinto is on his way to Manchester City.

Record says City are set to complete the signing of Pinto later this month from Sporting CP.

City have watched Pinto, 15, on several occasions and have been impressed by his 6"3 physique.

The report says the Sporting youngster will join City when his academy contract expires later this month, on his 16th birthday. It adds that Sporting will only receive a training fee for the player, and no transfer fee.

Pinto has represented Portugal at U15 and 16 level and is currently part of Sporting's U17 side.
