Sporting CP fullback Pedro Porro feels he can still have a future with Manchester City.
Porro, after last season's loan with Valladolid, is now starring in Portugal with Sporting in a similar arrangement.
He told AS: "That City bought me impressed me, it's a great club.
"But I take it as that they wanted to see me evolve. Like what I'm doing at Sporting, which has given me a lot of confidence.
"I do not take it as that City has set me apart, I have to readjust well to professional football and I am doing so."
Porro added: "They (City) have one person who takes care of all the loan players. He calls me and asks me how I am feeling. They are watching and I also like that, because you know that you have their support. I hope they are happy."
