Sporting CP coach Silas admits Man Utd target Fernandes 'deserves England move'

Sporting CP coach Silas admits he doesn't know if Bruno Fernandes has played his last game with the club.

As a deal with Manchester United is close to being signed off, Fernandes played a full 90 in last night's 2-0 home defeat to Benfica.

Silas said afterwards, "I don't know.

"I'm going to prepare the (next) game with Bruno, from now to then on I don't know what will happen. He is a player who aspires to play in a League superior to ours.

"What player would not like to play in the English League ? It is difficult to tell him 'don't go'.

"Bruno deserves to try such a league and the best one really is (the Premier League). If he is one of the best, he has to be there."

He continuned: "In the event that we don't have (Bruno Fernandes) we have to look for other dynamics. Are there many teams in Portugal that don't have Bruno, or not? They are looking for other dynamics. We will lose some things, we will gain others."
