Spezia striker Manaj insists no regrets leaving Barcelona

Spezia striker Rej Manaj has no regrets over his move from Barcelona.

Manaj left Barca B for Spezia in August.

He told Marca: "I am very happy. The first months were a bit difficult because the style was totally different. At Barcelona, the goal was to have the ball and here it is a bit more complicated. I have already managed to get the atmosphere and I'm very happy.

"We are a young team, but we have some things to improve. We don't have much experience, but we are all together looking to achieve the goal, which is to stay in Serie A."

On coach Thiago Motta, he added: "He likes to have the ball, but there is also a lot of physical effort behind him. He likes the team to be intense, to run a lot and also the training sessions are very intense. He is a good coach and has room for growth."
