Crystal Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni admits he wants to join a Premier League club.

The 29-year-old, who has appeared in 43 of Palace's 44 league games so far this season, admits he would love to achieve his goal with Palace but admits he would be tempted by a move should an opportunity arise.

"My ideal future is to be promoted with Palace - I've been here five years now and I would love to stay," he told South London Press Today.

"But I'm desperate to get that promotion because it would probably open the door in terms of recognition for the national team.

"I can't lie - if an opportunity arose for me I would have to see the situation. And if it was good I would have to take it.

"But I'm not very concerned about that - I know people are talking about different clubs watching me but I'm not worried about it."
