Julian Speroni has signed a new deal with Crystal Palace.

The Argentine goalkeeper's previous contract was due to expire in June.

Speroni, speaking in the Croydon Advertiser, said: "It's done. I will be here next season.

"I am delighted, of course. It will be my 12th season next year, so it's amazing.

"I can't really go into them too much but there were some clauses in the contract, in terms of me doing certain things to extend the initial contract."
