SPECIAL LOAN MENTION: Chelsea youngster Lucas Piazon opens account as Reading continue bright start

Lucas Piazon scored his first goal for Reading in Saturday's 2-1 win at Burnley.

Making his first Championship start for the Royals, the on-loan Chelsea forward slotted home in the ninth minute to give the visitors an early two-goal lead at Turf Moor.

21-year-old Piazon finished a patient move from Steve Clarke's men, which resulted in him clinically firing home Chris Gunter's low right-wing cross, to add to Nick Blackman's fifth-minute opener.

Tendayi Darikwa pulled one back for the Clarets but it did nothing to stop Reading extending their winning streak away from to three matches.

Piazon joined the Berkshire club from the Premier League champions on a season-long loan at the end of August and has so far appeared four times in all competitions.

Reading sit third on the Championship table on 15 points, six behind leaders Brighton & Hove Albion.
