Sparta Rotterdam have welcomed their deal for Chelsea defender Fankaty Dabo.

Dabo has moved to Sparta on-loan - having spent last season with Vitesse Arnhem.

At Vitesse, Dabo played for Henk Fraser, who is now in charge of Sparta.

"We have made every effort to strengthen the squad and we are pleased that we have succeeded in getting the right back to Het Kasteel," said technical manager Henk van Stee.

Last season, Dabo played 34 games for Vitesse.
