Roma manager Luciano Spalletti has seemingly handed Liverpool and Leicester City a huge boost in their hopes of signing Leandro Paredes.
Leicester are currently interested in securing the services of Paredes this summer and reports have claimed that the Premier League champions have placed a bid close to £18.9million for the 22-year-old.
It remains to be seen as to whether Roma will accept the alleged offer but manager Spalletti has gone on to give the Foxes a huge boost by hinting that Paredes could leave for the right price.
"Paredes is a strong player in our opinion and we want to use him this season," Spalletti told Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport.
"But often strong players need to be sold. It even happened with [Gonzalo] Higuain. For me Paredes is a good player and I hope he remains in Rome."
Liverpool are also believed to be keen but their interest has dropped off in recent times.
