Spain are making a new pitch to Real Mallorca superkid Luka Romero.
Romero is an Argentina youth international and also qualifies for Mexico and Spain. The midfielder made his Primera debut at 15 years of age last season against Real Madrid. He won't turn 16 until November.
IB3 TV reports Spain technical chief José Francisco Molina has met with Romero to discuss committing his international future to La Roja.
For the moment, Romero remains committed to Argentina, though an open offer from Spain is now on the table.
The midfielder is currently a regular with Mallorca B this season.
