Spain coach Robert Moreno expects to remain in charge for Euros

Spain coach Robert Moreno expects to remain in charge for next summer's Euros.

The 42-year-old succeeded Luis Enrique on the La Roja bench, after the latter stepped down due to family issues, and has led the team to qualification for Euro 2020. Spain top their qualifying group, five points clear of second-placed Sweden.

"In life it is normal for your work to be questioned, even more so in an area that is public," Moreno told the press.

"I can focus on tomorrow [Monday], on my work. It's the only thing I can control. I'm not worries.

"I think my chances of continuing [with Spain] are 10 out of 10.

"[RFEF president Luis] Rubiales and [sporting director Jose Fransisco] Molina say things to your face.

"All coaches count days. In a week, a year or eight years, I might not be there.

"If I didn't think so, I wouldn't be able to live.

"I want to coach the national team for many years, as I feel supported by everything that surrounds the national team."
