Spain coach Luis Enrique pleased with thumping Wales win

Spain coach Luis Enrique was pleased with their 4-1 win in Wales on Thursday night.

The team was rotated considerably and opportunities were afforded to some peripheral players, with more changes expected when Spain host England next.

"I have seen so many of the things that we have spoken about tonight," Luis Enrique said in his post-match press conference.

"The team were very involved from the first minute and had an almost perfect attitude."

Luis Enrique also discussed his happiness with the competition amongst the squad and joked that journalists would not be able to predict the starting XI for the England match.

"I love the competition," he said, "it means we can bring in four or five players and they still have a very high level.

"It's difficult for me, but positive, they are good players with a lot of hunger.

"Yes there are clues [for the England game] in those who have not played, but you won't be able to guess more than four or five."
