Spain coach Julen Lopetegui was satisfied with their 1-1 draw against friendly opponents Germany.
Valencia striker Rodrigo Moreno struck La Roja's goal.
"We've shown personality, and we've been in control of the match at all times," Lopetegui explained in his post-match press conference.
"The feeling is positive, we played against the best team in the world and did well.
"We wanted to dominate for the entire 90 minutes."
Injuries had impacted the Spain squad ahead of Friday's friendly with Sergio Busquets missing the match, however, the Spanish coach believed the team rallied in such a circumstance.
"We had Busquets out, but Thiago stepped up and played really well after some time away," he continued.
"There are lots of positives to take from the match, but we leave satisfied.
"The challenge was beautiful, our team has been able to compete and have shown ambition."
