Spain coach Vincente del Bosque was stunned by their 1-1 draw with World Cup qualifying opponents Finland.
The World Cup and European Championship holders dominated possession and created far more chances than the visitors over the 90 minutes at the Molinon stadium in Gijon.
However, Teemu Pukki's 78th minute equaliser cancelled out Sergio Ramos' headed goal to land Finland a surprise draw and deny Spain the three points.
"It seems impossible that after dominating the first and second half we have drawn the match," Del Bosque said.
La Roja enjoyed 82 percent of possession and had 29 shots, leaving their coach to rue wasted opportunities.
"We could have been more composed in front of goal," he said. "We couldn't create enough clear shots and we were unable to get the second goal to finish off the game."
Del Bosque praised Finland for their defensive work but was shocked that they were able to find an equaliser as they played defensively throughout.
"They closed us down very well and then the unthinkable happened: they scored," he said.
