According to reports from the Mirror, Gareth Southgate wants to fast-track Chelsea youngster Nathaniel Chalobah into the senior England squad.

Chalobah has not yet established himself in the Chelsea first team so far.

But nonetheless, the 22-year-old is undoubtedly a very exciting prospect and he recently impressed for England in the Under-21 European Championships in Poland.

Gareth Southgate is one of the many admirers of Chalobah's abilities and reports have claimed that the England boss is now planning to fast track the youngster into the senior Three Lions team due to the lack of midfield options available at his disposal.
