England boss Gareth Southgate will be at Anfield on Sunday for Chelsea's visit to Liverpool.

The Daily Mail says Southgate will watch Chelsea teenager Callum Hudson-Odoi on Sunday as he starts planning for the possibility of being without Harry Kane this summer for the Nations League.

Mauricio Pochettino confirmed on Friday that the Spurs striker will miss the rest of the domestic season but says Kane has a chance of making the Champions League final on June 1, should Tottenham make it.

But Southgate will go to Chelsea's clash at Liverpool on Sunday with a view to monitoring Hudson-Odoi.

The teenager was drafted into Southgate's previous squad following a raft of injuries and impressed in his two appearances against Czech Republic and Montenegro, where he made his first senior international start.
